We want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!! We hope that you enter into 2009 with great expectations and goals and that it be filled with some of the best moments of your life!
Ok, phew, thank God we made it through 2008! Now it's time to move into 2009. With that said, before moving into '09 here's a preview of our last wedding of 2008. The bride and groom, Maria and Marcio (great couple by the way!)came down from Washington D.C. to get married here in Miami. Most of her family lives in Miami and his lives in Brazil. Myleen and I had a blast capturing this wedding, so enough talk and here are a few we chose for their wedding preview...
I thought I'd show you a before and after editing sample of our work. We get the occasional "How did you guys edit that one?" or "How did you get them to pose like that?". Well, sometimes cropping is your best tool after a good eye of course. Here's a perfect example of good cropping and editing from a picture some people may have deleted....
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Fernandez Family! We hope that you are able to enjoy this day with the people you love the most! Leave all of your worries behind today and take the time to tell stories, have some good food and love life! Everyday is what we make it so make the best of today and don't wait for tomorrow!! Also remember those that are in need...there are so many people that could benefit from a fraction of what we have. Here's a small video I copied from a photographer named Becker, who's blog I follow from time to time. I believe it sums up Christmas well:
Luke 2:11-14 "Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."
Hey everyone! Well we're able to finally post a bunch of pics from Paula and John's wedding. Talk about backed up! This is the craziest and busiest season of the year for us and I want to thank Paula and all of our brides for their patience while we work on giving them beautiful images. There were so many amazing images from Paula and John's wedding but unfortunately we don't have the room to put them all up on the blog, but here are a few of our favs: (Oh by the way we changed our "name stamp" on the blog images, let us know what you think, thanks!)
THERE'S A PART II TO THIS WEDDING POST, SO COME BACK SOON TO SEE THE REST!!
Yvette and Justin just tied the knot this past Saturday and they had their wedding at the Cheeca Lodge in Islamorada, Florida in the Florida Keys. What an amazing place for a wedding! The weather was perfect and the bride and groom were ready. Myleen and I had never shot a wedding there and were very happy with the setting and the entire setup. The staff there were extremely helpful and willing to accomodate the bride anyway possible. So, if you're willing to take a drive down to the Keys you won't regret it and neither will your guests! By the way I shot this wedding with my usual Canon gear but I actually received my 5D Mark II the day before the wedding and here are some images shot with it (more to follow in the full wedding post)....
The Rings Win!!
I'll be posting a bunch more pics in the weeks to come!
Hey Everyone! I just got home from Fabiola and Johnny's wedding and it was one of the funnest weddings I've ever been to!! I couldn't resist posting a few images from tonight so here you go..... I'll post more as soon as I get some spare time! :)
Myleen and I love to take the kids out and about when we can, so yesterday we decided to take a walk around the neighborhood because the weather was AWESOME! Of course taking a walk means: Get Brandon's red Mustang, the stroller for Emma, the baby bag and oh yeah, crackers to feed the killer ducks again! So here are a few typical images of what an outting with the Fernandez Family looks like....
TIME TO GET THE DUCKS WOUND UP!
